12/03/13, Earth Time: 06:00 AM, EST, Tuesday – The Story of Terlokya - Red Rain

12/03/13
Due to the celebration of America's Thanksgiving, there was no post on last Thursday.

Greetings and salutations. Caslaikove here. Last week I shared about the destruction of Boesona at the hands of the Mooomuos. The one-sided war prompted the Anntens to enter on the side of the Vultaires of Boesona. To keep this straight, remember that the continents of Terlokya (all 5 of them) were de facto countries in as much as the way Earth is divided amongst its peoples. Here’s a list to help:
The Vultaires lived on the continent of Boesona, which surrounded the North Pole of the planet. It is the 3rd largest continent.
The Mooomuos and the Kinteras, who barely co-existed, lived on opposite coasts of Kamchow, the largest continent. The Mooomuos didn’t really get along with anyone.
The Anntens, lived mostly on Dansleg, (with some small percentage living on Sygon) the 2nd largest continent.
The Parnewsians mostly lived on Sygon, the smallest continent, with about 25% living on Meeuusoe, the southernmost continent.
The Faswazzies lived on Meeuusoe, the 4th largest continent. Peaceful people who did not know how to fight.

When the Anntens entered the war, they held back the Mooomuos’ onslaught on the Vultaires, but were slowly giving ground. The Anntens pleaded with the Parnewsians, the most technically advanced group, to come to their aid. When the Mooomuos discovered that the Anntens had asked the Parnewsians to enter the war on their side, the Mooomuos unleashed the fury of their nuclear arsenal onto the interior of the Dansleg continent where most of the Annten military and industry were located. They did the same to Boesona. The Parnewsians immediately launched a nuclear strike on the eastern parts of Kamchow where the Mooomuos mostly resided. Then the war suddenly stopped. All communications were down. History says the fighting ceased due to the destruction of life, technology, and land. But the survivors know the real reason. After the blast clouds covered the planet, it began to rain; hard. But it wasn’t raining water. It was a red rain. What made it red?

NEXT WEEK “Blood?”
