Greetings and salutations. Caslaikove here. Last week I spoke of Kesmar, Terlokya’s first real world citizen. Having grown weary of trying to unify the planet through political office and having no luck, he withdrew from public life and settled with his family in Meeuusoe. But his constant unifying voice was missed and the continent nations began feuding with one another leading to the Great War. He left his family safe in Meeuusoe and joined the Sygon military. Because of his illustrious past, he was put in charge of strategic planning for all branches of the special forces. This allowed him to have the ear of the Sygon government to which he convinced them not to destroy Kamchow with nuclear weapons like they did to Boesona. They opted for conventional warfare which led to more death and destruction but saved the planet from obliteration. Kamchow had unleashed nuclear devastation upon Boesona and Kesmar knew that the planet could not withstand another hit like that.
After the Dark Winter cleared, the citizens of the broken nations
rebelled against any remnants of authority. Kesmar preached that peace with
unity was the only way to save the planet and what life remained on it. The
people listened and begged Kesmar to form a unity government to lead the planet
back from near ruin. He accepted under one condition: that there would be no
more individual continent nations. Terlokya from then on would stand as one and
everyone was a Terlokayn, not a Sygonian or a Meeuusoite, or anything else. “We
are Terlokya!” he preached. “And we are all citizens of Terlokya!” He made a
pledge to give his life if necessary, to uphold the safety and sanctity of all
of Terlokya thus making him the first citizen of a united planet.
